Hawzah News Agency- the office of Senior Iraqi cleric Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, announced that Grand Ayatollah Sistani expressed his solidarity with the noble Lebanese nation and condemned their great suffering against Israel's cruel aggression.

This office announced that Grand Ayatollah Sistani urges all parties involved to use the utmost efforts to stop this continuous barbaric aggression and support the Lebanese people against its devastating consequences; the senior cleric further asked the believers to take the necessary measures to reduce the Lebanese people’s suffering and problems and provide for their human needs.

The statement of the office of Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani states,” In these difficult days, when the noble people of Lebanon are exposed to the cruel aggression of the Zionist regime with brutality, including the explosion of a large number of communication devices and the targeting of crowded buildings and carrying out massive attacks against dozens of villages and towns in the south and Al-Beqaa region, which has led to the martyrdom and wounding of a large number of members of the resistance heroes and innocent civilians and the displacement of tens of thousands of people, the Grand Ayatollah Sistani expresses his solidarity and sympathy with the Lebanese loved ones in their great suffering and calamity, and prays to God almighty to protect them against the evil and the wicked, and to forgive the martyrs and provide speedy recovery to the wounded.

This statement comes after the Israeli army has increased its attacks against the residents of southern Lebanon in recent days.
